J. Alfred Maggot is a guardian of Insectika, and servant of Queen Slug-for-a-Butt. Earthworm Jim encounters him as the mini-boss of Buttville, the final level of the original video game.

J. Alfred Maggot is actually the rear end of the Queen's ovipositor, her giant egg-sac, and namesake of the level.
